Terms and conditions

(These conditions will not be applicable in case of specific agreements with other institutions).

  1. The minimum age to participate in our activities is 16 years.
  2. All courses have a limited number of vacancies that would be assigned in order of arrival of the enrolment application.
  3. We will consider a complete enrolment when:
    • The application form is properly completed.
    • The bank payment is attached.
    • All the documentation needed is attached.
  4. Exceptionally, other selection criteria might be included in the activities advertising.
  5. To determine the level of people wishing to participate in our language courses, a level confirmation test will be held during the first session of the course.
  6. In case there are not vacancies in the recommended course, those who are interested can apply for a transfer enrollment to same level courses that are going to be offered in future editions.
  7. Once the course has started, the change to another one would only be considered if it is channeled through the teacher.
  8. CSLM activities can be cancelled if it does not reach a sufficient number of participants, which will change in each edition of the courses. If necessary, this decision can be taken until the last school day before the start of the course and the full refund of the amount paid by the participants for enrollment is guaranteed. Affected students will receive notification of the cancellation via email requesting the necessary data to make the return, which will be made within a maximum period of 15 days after receipt of the requested data.
  9. A student can request in writing the cancellation of their enrollment in a course, attending only the following cases:
    • This request can be submitted up to two school days before the beginning of the course. In this case the student will receive the full amount paid as tuition (unless there are specific specifications of return in the advertising of the course).
    • Those who renounce the course once started, must communicate the withdrawal by email to formacion1@fueca.es. In this case, a refund of the amount paid for enrollment would not be considered, not even partially.
    • If the student, in case of force majeure – incompatibility in the workplace; hospitalization; change of province - has to drop out the course, he/she has to make a writing resign including the written proofs with the original documents to justify the causes.Once the case has been analyzed, the resolution will be notified by the same means to the student. In case of having paid the full course and proceeded with the return, the proportional part will be discounted to the elapsed time of the course and to the cost of the materials given in the course.
    • In the official accreditation exams the deadline to drop out will be of nine days, not only to get the money back but also to be able to make the exam in another call.
  10. The ratification of the student’s enrollment implies the acceptance of the general conditions of the CSLM.
  11. The inattention of these conditions and the unfulfillment of the behavior rules and respect towards the participants, might end in the cancellation of the enrollment from the CSLM.
  12. Requests of changing the examination date will be studied only and exclusively, as long as the student provides a written proof with the accredited documents, in the following cases:
    • Travel for work reasons, studies, or other justify reasons.
    • Coincidence with formal education examinations.
    • Work or job interview.
    • Participation in presentations or conferences (University teachers).
    • Hospitalization or medical leave.
    • Death of a relative.
    • In these cases, after the approval of the academic coordination, a new date will be agreed with the student to do the test.
